Arto Yuzbasiyan (1948) is a painter and graphic artist who was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He emigrated to Canada in 1973 and presently (2011) lives in Scarborough, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto. (1)

His primary mediums are oil, watercolor and pencil.  His subjects are urban life, street scenes, cityscapes, still life, genre*, harbors and landscapes.  His most well-known paintings are of snow-covered Toronto streets; though his subject city locations also include Thunder Bay (Ontario), Ottawa (Ontario), Montreal, Quebec City, Chicago, New York City and Istanbul.  His styles are Realism* and Impressionism*.
